About You

You are an innovative, communicative refractory specialist who aspires to deliver. You like to foster the usage of recycled materials in our products and support the implementation of a recycling friendly product portfolio. You are great in connecting main stakeholders to foster the sales of recycling-containing refractories. Being a team player, you find the most natural thing in the world and your general curiosity makes you ready to travel up to 30% of your time for this role.

 

In addition, you have:

  • Higher education in engineering with degree either in Metallurgy, Materials Sciences, Process, Chemistry or similar area
  • Knowledge and experience within refractory products, materials as well as recycling will be beneficial
  • Your work experience derives from Technical Marketing, Sales, Product Management or R&D
  • You are fluent in English, any other language is considered an asset
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills are required, in particular Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting and data management purposes
  • You can easily communicate with various stakeholder, storytelling and presenting belongs to your daily routine

 

About the job

As a Recycling Technical Specialist you will be responsible for fostering the promotion of recycling grades around the world, being in contact with technical and Sales areas in the company.

You become part of the global Recycling team counting app. 20 people. The job will be based either in Vienna in Austria or Rotterdam in The Netherlands. You report to the Head of Portfolio, Sales and Market Development based in Rotterdam.

 

 Your tasks will include:

  • Foster the sales of recycling-containing brands with internal stakeholders
  • Manage the portfolio of recycling grades in connection with Product Management department
  • Analysis of sales data and recycling data
  • Usage of sales tools to promote the recycling brands
  • Connection with the Technical Excellence and the Sales teams to promote recycling grades
  • Monitoring of trials initiatives with recycling grades together with the regional recycling teams, Technical Excellence and Sales teams
  • Support in the development and implementation of new products and recycling usage, together with R&D and PM
  • Participation in the IBP Portfolio and demand reviews for recycling related topics
  • Monitoring of recycling KPIs and support in the technical analysis of the root causes for deviation
  • Understand and track the recycling usage from raw material to finished goods
  • Technical support for Sales, FP&A, Sourcing & Business Development and Recycling Operations globally

According to your previous experience and qualifications and in keeping with the market the annual gross salary will start from € 60.000 (full time basis). We value your expertise and are permanently aware of market references to design attractive packages.
