Sales Account Manager Lime

About you

You are a Sales Professional that can collaborate with various people at different levels in our multicultural organization and especially with sales, production, and supply chain. You can build relationships, work structured, independent, and easily switch between regular administrative system tasks, operational tasks, and projects. In your communication you are service oriented and can explain technical aspects at various levels and details. In your work you are precise, proactive, and getting the job done is one of your main characteristics.

In addition, you have:

  • Have a technical or engineering background (University degree in the fields of ceramics, mineralogy, material science, metallurgy, chemistry, engineering).
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in heavy industry.
  • Have good command of MS Office (including Excel) and affinity with IT-software.
  • Are fluent in English and additional languages such as Dutch, German and/or Portuguese are a plus.

About the job

As a Sales Account Manager Lime, you will be part of small international team stationed in Rotterdam/ Vienna/GB and report to the Global Lime department. You will be part of a highly motivated lime project team and will cover a wide range of topics. This position requires international travel to up to 50% on a yearly basis.


Your tasks will include:

  • Responsibility for sales activities for our products to customers within the lime industry in Great Britain, Ireland (later Scandinavia).
  • On site customer service through regular customer visits.
  • Development of technical and commercial sales concepts in close collaboration with the customer and our internal product management.
  • Processing of inquiries, preparation of offers, pursuing negotiations and contract management
  • Budget responsibility.
  • Ongoing observation of the market and strategy development to support present and attract new customers.
