Plant Manager

Lead operations. Drive excellence. Shape the future of manufacturing. At RHI Magnesita, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our Marelan plant. In this role, you’ll create a safety-first culture, optimize production processes, and deliver operational excellence that meets and exceeds business objectives.

Your Impact

• Manage daily manufacturing operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Value goals
• Build and maintain a safety-first culture, driving EHS improvements and compliance
• Ensure environmental and regulatory standards are met
• Drive efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives that add value for customers and expand margins
• Develop operational plans aligned with corporate KPIs and strategic objectives
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Coach and mentor team members to strengthen leadership and technical capabilities
• Lead Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives across the site
• Plan and deliver capital projects to improve plant performance
• Monitor key performance metrics and lead daily production meetings and Gemba walks
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and drive improvements to reduce cost of quality
• Oversee predictive and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field
• 6+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven success as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Maintenance Manager
• Strong background in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement
• Ability to lead change and develop high-performing teams
• Experience managing budgets and driving cost efficiency
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence

Compensation

• $110,000 - 140,000 CAD
• Bonus eligible
