About the job

While acting in a challenging macro-economic environment, Swedish steel producers are at the forefront of the sustainability transformation in Europe. To support new Sales opportunities, we are looking for a technical expert in EAF steelmaking to support growth opportunities in this dynamic market. Your role is not only to give technical support on application and installation of refractory products, but independently drive new initiatives in the field of sustainable refractories alongside our MIRECO experts. Introducing advanced business opportunities together such as CPP/FLS/4PRO will be a key expertise you can bring to the team. To implement innovations to the customers, you will work seamlessly with our technical marketing team and act as a facilitator on site. This position requires very high mobility (minimum of 60% traveling) and high flexibility.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Facilitating CPP/FLS business models in Sweden/Nordic region
• Driving sustainability initiatives and product implementation at our customers
• Supervision of installation of refractory products including reports/documentation
• Monitoring use of RHI Magnesita services and products on site
• Troubleshooting/maintenance for RHI Magnesita-supplied materials and equipment
• Investigating defects by producing reports, photos, samples, and drawings

What we expect from you in terms of

Education, knowledge and skills

• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or any field of similar relevance
• SAP knowledge would be desirable

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent

• Any other language is considered an asset

Work Experience

• Several years of professional experience within an engineering/maintenance office or engineering supply environment
