About the job

As an IT Network Engineer, you'll join a global team of network and firewall specialists, who ensure smooth IT-operations day by day, by delivering stable and secure network services. Keep sight of the bigger picture to drive forward our wide area network as well as network security architecture in a hybrid environment (on premise / private Cloud / Cloud / Azure / AWS Cloud).

In addition, your tasks will include

• Administration, service, expansion, monitoring and support for the worldwide WAN/LAN/WLAN & MS Azure and AWS Cloud network environments
• Network design, implementation and optimization of new and existing branches.
• Implementing and improve our network connectivity and security infrastructure in hybrid environments (on premise/private Cloud/Cloud/Azure/AWS Cloud)
• Monitoring, performance analysis and troubleshooting, configuration of Azure network services and support by Infrastructure as a code deployment
• Evaluation and implementation of new technologies, solutions and possibilities and contribute to medium as well as large-scale IT projects

What we expect from you in terms of

Education

• You have completed university degree, preferably in Computer Science, a degree in business administration or technical fields, or an equivalent qualification;

Languages

English – Proficient/Fluent

Any other language is considered as an asset – Beginner

Work Experience

Relevant working experience in:

• Firewall and WAN operations (Barracuda, Cisco…), IT Service Management and Network Engineering
• Cloud Platform Environments – especially AZURE and AWS - network setups
• Managing enterprise-grade firewalls and deep knowledge in Switching, Routing and wireless environments (Barracuda, Aruba, HPE, …)
• Infrastructure as Code technologies
• DevOps-Tools (Azure DevOps)
