About the job 

RHI Magnesita is currently seeking an IT Specialist who can provide a high-level of technical knowledge and experience to help us deliver innovative solutions for our internal customers. This is a professional level role where you will have the opportunity to design and implement solutions with different technologies mostly based on Microsoft Azure Cloud and Amazon AWS.

As an IT Specialist you will play an important role in the Digital Transformation of RHI Magnesita, being a key individual to support the development of the technical solutions. You support main initiatives, being part of the Digital & Cloud Solution Delivery department. Work in alignment with rest of the teams and other IT areas, following corporate standards with full autonomy to challenge and purpose new ideas, keeping all activities well documented.

Your tasks will include:

• Collaborate with internal clients to define and prioritize their business needs, aligning them with efficient and feasible technical solutions
• Partner with architects, developers, and engineers spread in different countries as well as evaluate, estimate and support the system development, responding to the requirements of the business areas, always applying the market best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Keep up with best practices, software development trends and innovations.
• Motivate and lead cross-functional teams, fostering balance and commitment to deliver high-quality solutions

In addition, your tasks will include: 

• Technical skills:
• Required:
• Experience working on solutions hosted on Cloud
• Experience in Software development on multitier landscape and with ability to mentor more junior developers.
• Experience on handling backlogs, assessing risks, balancing resources allocations
• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless
• Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure, applications, IAM, and data analysis solutions
• Scripting experience
• Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Capability to understand business needs and interact with other teams to provide support for the day-by-day activities.
• Familiarity with working remotely, collaborating with teams working in different time zones
• Experience on applying AI on development processes and daily routines
  
  
• Nice-to-have:
• Experience with software development, C#, JavaScript, Node JS, Java, Python, RESTful APIs, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft tools like Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, Office 365, etc.
• Experience with databases: SQL and NoSQL.
• Any experience with Low Code tools development will be considered an asset. 
• Knowledge using modern Web UI technologies – Angular , React, HTML5 & CSS3
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps
• Experience with IaC, automation tools, ARM Templates, Terraform, Chef, or Ansible
• Experience with Low Code platforms, preferably Outsystems

What we expect from you in terms of:                                                                                                                                       

Education

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Certificates: OutSystems and Cloud certificates will be considered an asset

Languages

English – Proficient/Fluent

Work Experience

• Identifying new business opportunities with customers collaborating with them to prioritize their needs and proposing feasible technical solutions, handle multiple stakeholders, assessing complex landscapes and identifying synergies to simplify / reduce running costs through the creation of business cases. Additionally, Software Development background in Web based application using agile techniques, providing innovative solutions focusing on maximizing value to the customers.
