Your position
Global Trainee – Supply Chain Management
Your tasks
- Data Analytics & Insights
- Analyze logistics and supply chain data to identify trends, risks and optimization opportunities
- Develop dashboards, visualizations and performance tracking tools
- Support the creation of data models to improve forecasting, inventory and network efficiency
- Translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations
- End-to-End Planning Support
- Assist in designing and improving integrated planning processes across demand, supply, and logistics
- Support scenario simulations and planning pilots
- Contribute to global standardization of KPIs and planning methodologies
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance visibility across the value chain
- Agentic AI & Innovation Pilots
- Support early-stage pilots involving agentic AI in planning and logistics workflows
- Help define use cases, test hypotheses and evaluate business impact
- Collaborate with digital and IT teams to prototype automation solutions
- Document learnings and contribute to scaling successful initiatives
- Global Collaboration
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders in Asia, India and Europe
- Prepare materials for leadership reviews and transformation initiatives
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing within the Center of Excellence
Your profile
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical mindset with interest in digital supply chain transformation
- Basic experience with data tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Understanding of supply chain planning concepts is a plus
- Curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging technologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multicultural environments
- Openness to travel as needed and international relocation opportunities
Additional languages
Further language knowledge is appreciated
Nice to have
Prior experience or internships in Materials Science, Chemistry, Metallurgy or Refractory related field is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AI tools and data analysis tools.
The program & hiring process
The hiring process for the Global Trainee Program 2026 takes place between March and June 2026 and includes several stages, such as CV screening, interviews, a personality questionnaire, and an assessment center.
Successful candidates will receive their contracts between June and July and will start their positions in September 2026. Throughout the program, trainees will complete multiple assignments and rotations, gaining cross-functional exposure and building a strong internal network.
