About the job
We are seeking an experienced and driven person to join our team at Plant Divača, as manager for lean and health, safety & environment (HSE) topics. In this key role, you will lead the systematic analysis and optimization of technical processes and will drive Lean projects aiming at improvements in manufacturing and maintenance. The upcoming roll-out of our global Operational Excellence programme to plant Divača also falls under the scope of this role. In the HSE area, you will focus on implementing and monitoring initiatives to increase occupational safety and reduce waste.
In addition, your tasks will include:
- Collaborating with various departments to implement Lean practices (6S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, and others)
- Monitoring and reporting of unsafe situations and driving H&S improvement projects
- Training employees in the areas of Lean and Health & Safety
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and achieving set targets

You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. Education, Certification & Skills
- A technical university degree, preferably in the fields of mechanical or electrical engineering
- Basic knowledge of lean tools and techniques (6S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, etc.)
- Experience in project management and data analysis/reporting
Languages
- English – Proficient/Fluent
- Slovenian – Proficient/Fluent
Work Experience
- A few years of relevant working experience in a similar role within an engineering / manufacturing environment
