Ocean Freight Transport Planner (all genders)

Your position
In this role, you will ensure seamless booking and coordination of our ocean freight shipments from Europe to customers worldwide. As part of an international team, you serve as a reliable interface between internal stakeholders and external partners, leveraging strong communication and stakeholder management skills. With a structured, analytical, and proactive approach, you drive the efficient execution of daily operations and actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and overall business performance.
Your tasks
- Coordinating ocean freight bookings as well as the preceding inland transports for our outbound shipments
- Conducting supplier evaluations and ensuring KPIs are met
- Driving day-to-day operations of transport planning on assigned trade lanes
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business and customer needs
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics processes
Your profile
- Strong communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A few years of professional experience in logistics, ideally in an international environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and a strong affinity for digital tools
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field OR vocational training in freight forwarding or shipping with solid ocean freight experience
Languages: English – fluent, knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus
Nice to have: Knowledge of SAP S/4, Oracle Transport Management, Power BI, and experience working with ERP systems
