About the job
In this role you will be play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations and efficient logistics coordination between the Divača plant and our global group network. Your key responsibilities include the identification of demand from our ERP system and the creation of purchase orders for raw material/logistics, including follow-up on order confirmation and potential postponements. You will coordinate closely with the purchasing team about price and conditions and will communicate frequently with several internal and external stakeholders, both locally and internationally. Besides ensuring alignment on quantities, prices and delivery logistics, you will also maintain and update certain databases.
In addition, your tasks will include
- Supporting our Quality Management Team on possible raw material claims or complaints
- Clarifying invoices in case of deviations from purchase order
- Managing and monitoring inventory levels and material requirement planning (MRP)
- Occasionally organising transportation and shipping (including related documentation)

What we expect from you in terms of
Education & Skills
- A commercial degree or comparable professional experience in this area (e.g. procurement, logistics, sales, finance or similar)
- User experience with an ERP system (e.g. SAP, Navision, …)
Languages
- English – Fluent
- German or any other language skills will be considered an asset
Work Experience
- First professional experience in the field of logistics and/or procurement, ideally in an industrial environment
- Experience in the refractory industry is beneficial but not essential
