Raw Materials & Production Planner (all genders)

Divača, Slovenia | Full time (40 hours/week)

 

Your position

As a Raw Materials & Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient control and monitoring of production orders across the entire supply chain. You act as a vital link between Sales, Operations, and Research teams at all organizational levels, collaborating closely with plant operations to ensure raw material production aligns with capacity planning and inventory management requirements.

 

Your tasks

  • Managing raw material planning across Europe, acting as an interface between Purchasing, Transport/Logistics, Materials Management, Production Plants, and R&D
  • Supervising raw material inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Preparing 12-month material demand forecasts and generating regular reports
  • Analysing and controlling raw material inventories to maintain efficiency
  • Participating in various SCM projects and providing support during inventory counts

Your profile

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on building effective relationships and working collaboratively with plant teams to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • A few years of experience in material and production planning, ideally in an industrial environment
  • A completed technical or economic education at high school diploma level
  • Extensive knowledge of SCM/logistics methodologies
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)

 

Languages: English – fluent, German – fluent
