Site Manager-Onsite Services, West Asia

In addition, you have:

  • Work experience / field: Managing people and leading teams, ideally teams are based in single location; Relevant experience of 10-15 years in operational roles (especially manufacturing background) ideally in steel industry.
  • Educational background: Engineering degree in Ceramics/ Metallurgy or equivalent
  • IT skills: should be proficient in MS offices, basic understanding of SAP.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English (Essential) and Hindi (Preferred) will be crucial while working with international team.
  • Other skills: Good team orientation
  • Travel requirements: Travel across the globe is one of vital requirement as and when it will be required

The re-shaped Refractory Services will be a center of knowledge and resources when it comes to delivering best -in-class services to our customers. In line with our strategy of providing tailored solutions to our customers, we are creating roles that clarify focus on the professional management of on-site services. Increasing our efficiency in site operations will lead to more success for us as RHIM- but also for our customer and their business.


  • Managing the execution of the long-term service contract at our customers sites through a team of experts in the region (Installation managers, supervisors, service technician, workers etc)
  • Ensuring Health and safety as priority in some specific contracts.
  • Driving and Implementing LEAN Management & continuous improvement in the contracts.
  • Performance Tracking and identification of added value to our customer operations.
  • Acting as counterpart of sales managers & directors to develop existing long-term contracts and set new target for the customer account.
  • Cooperating closely and exchanging with On-site service director and his team within the region to ensure that best services are shared an implemented.  


Your tasks will include:

  • Responsible for managing the specific long term contracts according to the defined guidelines,
  • Representing RHI Magnesita in front of the client, seeking full compliance with the contract, to guarantee the safety, quality, customer focus and controlled execution costs
  • Regular coordination with the existing sales forces and local contract coordinators for smooth execution of various contracts in his/her respective sites
