Head of FP&A Operations

We are looking for a Head of FP&A Operations. This job is a key function within the Finance team, working closely with the regional CFO and Head of Operations to improve costing transparency and drive performance in two manufacturing plants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the standard costing process for the region, ensuring BOM/routing and Cost Center tariffs are correct
- Reconcile variances between actual and planned costs
- Clearly identify where performance is behind plan and recommend solutions
- Create simulations of cost impacts to guide Sales
- Develop and maintain 3-year financial models to optimise cost and margins
- Support strategic planning cycles by providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and risk assessments
- Partner with business leaders to align financial models with operational goals
- Build detailed financial models to evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Conduct due diligence and scenario simulations to assess financial viability and integration impact
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders by delivering relevant, timely, and forward-looking financial insights
- Translate complex financial data into clear strategic recommendations and presentations
- Support cross-functional projects with financial evaluations, KPIs, and ROI analysis
- Identify and lead initiatives to improve financial processes, data integrity, and reporting quality
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial discipline across the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economy or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in plant controlling in manufacturing, mining or industrial environment
- Strong background in costing and operational performance monitoring
- Extremely competent with SAP CO Module S4 Hana with evidenced track record of implementations and process improvement. Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud is desirable
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including working with data from multiple sources, pivot tables, and dashboard-style reporting
- Strong analytical mindset, with examples of driving business value through data-driven insights and critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with diverse teams across functions and geographies
- Solid knowledge of CA, CFA, CIMA, MBA
- Fluent/Proficient in English and Turkish
