Your position

As a Project Engineer at RHI Magnesita, you will play a key role in process improvement and green field projects at our Sörmaş plant, reporting directly to the Head of Technical Maintenance. In this position, you will primarily manage the investment and project management activities to increase production capacity and machine availability. You will be at the forefront of these new projects, with a particular focus on layout and equipment design, as well as CAD activities. You will be responsible for designing improvements to existing layouts and equipment, preparing and evaluating project feasibility studies, drafting contracts and procurement documents, and defining project requirements for contractors.

Your tasks

• Managing and overseeing the design, engineering, implementation, and testing of site activities for multiple projects
• Tracking milestones and deliverables
• Prioritizing multiple projects with competing deadlines based on the company's guidelines and PMI standards
• Drafting and reporting project documentation
• Updating involved parties on the progress of the respective projects, and recording project and handover documentation
• Preparing and updating P&IDs and infrastructure projects for existing pipelines

Your profile

• A technical university degree - preferably in the fields of process, mechanical, or electrical engineering
• Several years of relevant working experience - preferably within the steel, cement, refractory or comparable manufacturing industry
• Experience managing large projects
• Advanced AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Office, and MS-Project knowledge

Languages: Turkish – fluent, English – advanced

Required certifications: PMP/PMI certificate is a plus
