About the job

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between customers, production, and distribution. Your responsibilities include managing the entire sales process, organizing technical support in the area, and monitoring the performance of refractory products. You will also provide detailed reports and analyses to ensure optimal product outcomes. In addition, you will lead applications and trials, oversee installations and product usage, and contribute to customer satisfaction by tailoring solutions to the unique demands of each client. In this role, you will be traveling up to 80% of your worktime, reporting directly to the Sales Manager in Steel of the region Iskenderun, Türkiye.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Participating in product trials and ensuring thorough monitoring of product performance
• Providing technical expertise and in-depth application knowledge for refractory products
• Managing shipment follow-ups and fostering strong relationships with customers
• Understanding customer demands and addressing complaints by working closely with the Sales Manager
• Developing customer growth plans to enhance and strengthen long-term partnerships

You are a strong communicator with a collaborative attitude. You feel confident engaging and negotiating with customers and managers at all levels. With your great enthusiasm and creative mindset, you bring new ideas to the table, not only as an individual but also together with your colleagues. You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. With your hands-on mentality, structured approach and analytical skills, you proactively seek to improve the status quo. You see change as something positive, can adapt quickly and you like to courageously help shaping the future of RHI Magnesita in Türkiye.

What we expect from you in terms of

Education and skills

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel

Languages

• English and Turkish – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language will be considered an asset

Work Experience and Knowledge

• Some years of work experience in refractories, steel, or industrial production
