Forklift Operator – Shipping

Role Summary

Are you ready to help shape the future of sustainable manufacturing? This newly created role is a unique opportunity to support RHI Magnesita’s recycling operations through efficient and safe shipping logistics. As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be responsible for handling recycled materials, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring smooth coordination between recycling facilities and processors.

This is a highly mobile role, with approximately 50% travel expected to support field operations and shipping activities across multiple sites. You’ll work closely with logistics, transportation, and warehouse teams to maintain the flow of materials and contribute directly to our sustainability goals.

What You’ll Do

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload recycled materials
• Stage and prepare shipments for transport to processors and recycling facilities
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and handling of materials for shipping
• Support sample dispatches and coordinate with QC and R&D teams
• Maintain shipping logs and communicate with internal stakeholders on material movement
• Travel to various sites to support shipping operations and processor engagement
• Assist in evaluating material readiness and recyclability in coordination with warehouse teams
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with shipping standards

What You Bring

• Valid forklift certification and experience in shipping or warehouse operations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations
• Willingness and enthusiasm for frequent travel (50%)
• Experience in recycling, logistics, or industrial shipping is a plus
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
