Full time position based at our Gurugram office


About you

You are open minded; hands on performance driven and have experience in the supervision and administration of People & Culture functions both in an office and in a plant environment – including employment, training, communications, statutory compliances, safety and occupational health, labor relations, wage & salary administration and contractor management.


In addition, you have:


  • Bachelor’s degree in labor relations, business management, human resources, or related field
  • Candidates with a master’s degree in human resource management and industrial/labor relations would be given preference
  • +10 years of experience in HR and ER with at least 5 years of HR IR in a senior role with experience in a manufacturing environment and multi-national organization
  • Knowledge of Pan India Labor Law & Personnel Management, best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Conflict management skills
  • Great verbal and written communications skills; not afraid to speak up when required
  • Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and follow-through; strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of software.
  • Proven leadership and change management capabilities
  • Deep knowledge of base practices in contractor management
  • Shared Service Center outsourcing and stake holder management experience will be an advantage.


About the job


We are looking for a high-performing People & Culture Manager to take ownership and accountability of all P&C related matters for our company in India. Key stakeholder management will be a critical part of this strategic role.

You will be responsible for planning, strategizing, implementing and handling ER/IR and P&C related topics as well as administrative matters in coordination with other departments for the smooth operation of the P&C management team in consultation with the Regional Leadership Team. This position will be based at our Gurugram office. 


As Head of People & Culture Management India, you will report directly to the Head of P&C India, West Asia & Africa.


Your tasks will include:

  • To implement and execute the IR & ER strategy and provide strategic and administrative support to the business and key stakeholders
  • To ensure smooth functioning of P&C at all facilities (plants and offices) for India
  • To collaborate with business leaders to understand the business priorities, and to execute the overall P&C strategy for India
  • To plan and manage the P&C function for the support of business goals
  • To design and drive adherence to all P&C policies and frameworks for India in line the changing dynamics
  • To understand the business requirements to attract and develop the right talent
  • To administer corporate policies relating to compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, health and safety programs, and core group values, mission and vision
  • To handle the strategy formulation for various procedures based on best practices India
  • To oversee the performance review management of the employees and assist in career planning
  • To manage and lead the P&C team for India
