In addition, you have:


  • 10-15 years experience in the payroll processing for India
  • Experience in working with manufacturing companies will be an added advantage
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Experience in managing employees’ allowances and benefits such as insurance, pension schemes, meal vouchers, etc.
  • Practical experience in working on India personnel taxation
  • Employer taxation compliance for India
  • Working knowledge in HRMS like SAP SuccessFactors
  • University degree in the field of Business Administration, Labor Relations, Law, or similar at any reputable University of Applied Sciences
  • Strong expertise in MS Office
  • Excellent knowledge in English, any additional language will be considered an asset
  • Good understanding of business processes and experience in a multi-national organization


About the job


RHI Magnesita is looking for an open minded, performance driven professional to work on our Payroll area in one of the more diverse regions of our company – India, West Asia & Africa – based out of our Gurugram office.


As a payroll specialist, you will assist the Head of P&C Management India with all matters related to payroll coordination with our external payroll provider.


Your tasks will include ensuring:

  • Accurate and complete gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, etc.)
  • Payroll-specific records (changes in wage/salary rates; pension, insurance, mandatory deductions; new hires, terminations, leave of absence, etc.)
  • Reconciliation of payroll records (e.g., payments, deductions, general ledger entries for wages)
  • Payroll data verification and administration
  • Monitoring and managing payroll legislation compliance
  • Answering questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters
  • Maintaining records on vacation, sick leave, etc.
  • Coordinate any and all payroll queries with the payroll provider as necessary from time to time
  • Record keeping etc to ensure clean audits, both internal and external.
