Lean Management Manager

  • Minimum qualification: B.Tech with 10-15 years of relevant experience in TPM/TQM/Six Sigma/ Lean Management.
  • Having exposure of MS-Office will be additional advantage.
  • Fluency in writing and speaking English; every additional language will be considered an asset.
  • Strategic Thinking and Action, Result orientation, Innovation and Change, Leadership, Communication and Co-operation
  • Ability to identify and report areas of possible conflicts between RHIM strategy and market trends.

 

About the job

 

We are currently looking for a proactive, action-oriented and highly motivated Operation Excellence Leader to lead our Operation Excellence Team on a full-time basis. This position will be based at our Gurugram office. 

 

The Head of Operation Excellence is responsible for the communication and implementation of the global/regional strategy, planning, target monitoring, implementing, and reporting, the implementation of the Strategy system and a standardized operational excellence process.

 

Your tasks will include:

He/she will be responsible for deriving and implementing lean strategy, policies, standards, and guidelines and continuously initiating, supporting, and coaching cross-functional lean activities and structural optimizations. Activities include:

 

  1. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  2. Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities.
  3. Driving and supporting all lean activities.
  4. Deploying standards and description of methods and processes and developing respective documentation.
  5. Analyzing processes or disruptions, identifying weak points, developing solutions, and supporting    

      implementation.

  1. Evaluating costs / benefits of the project and controlling measure implementation.
  2. Preparing, distributing, and training subject and method knowledge and sharing best practices.
  3. Participating in work groups / projects, and moderating meetings, workshops.
  4. Completing coaching programs for implementing change processes and activities effectively.
  5. Realizing subject knowledge in the calculation of investment decisions resp. implementation plans.
  6. Implementation of training activities and development programs for plant team members.
  7. Coordinate with Plant team for implementing Lean strategies and ensure proper implementation of the same.

 

General and Task Management

 

· Develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholders.

· Implement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvement.

· Provide project management, analytical and research skills, and expertise.

· Develop, deliver, and support delivery of business improvement change initiatives.

Develop and contribute towards improvement standards in line with best practice.

· Provide expertise, professional advice and guidance to the business in business improvement, drawing from proven industry practice and methodologies.

· Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming pipeline, and actions necessary to ensure success.

· Define, develop and publish business improvement process documentation to reflect best practice

· Undertake business process analysis, statistical analysis for improvement projects and to support wider change.

· Lead, define and develop continuous improvement activities designed to improve performance, such as the planning and running of lean events.

· Produce written reports and make presentations.

· Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.

· Identify business improvement opportunities within the Organisation.
