General Laborer

Role Summary

The General Laborer supports daily production operations by assisting with material handling, cleaning, basic production tasks, and equipment support throughout the Molding & Pressing department. This role plays a key part in ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment by performing routine labor duties, supporting machine operators, and ensuring materials and work areas remain organized.

What You’ll Do

• Receive instructions and daily work assignments from the Production Supervisor.
• Assist with handling, moving, and staging materials needed for production.
• Support machine operators by clearing work areas, organizing tools, and preparing materials.
• Perform visual inspections of materials and report any defects or concerns.
• Maintain work areas, production floors, and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Follow all safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with cleaning up loose materials, spillage, or green brick as required.
• Help load, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with production needs.
• Support general housekeeping duties throughout the department.
• Perform other production and labor tasks as necessary to support overall operations.
