POSITION SUMMARY:
The position of Field Service Rep will report to the Field Sales Representative responsible for the specific customer(s). The Field Service Rep will be responsible for visiting customers to confirm inventory levels are appropriate for jobs being performed, that products are installed using best practice mentality to ensure optimal product life is achieved, and to communicate results to the Field Sales Rep. and Technical Staff.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Communicate with customer, needs and timelines for product and installations
- Oversee product installation and use
- Ensure best practice is being used as it relates to the specific product(s)
- Provide feedback on product and installations to Sales and Technical Staff
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years’ experience in refractory environment or construction/installation
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly organized and exhibit time management skills
- Must be results-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must possess good problem-solving abilities
- Position can require physical handling of brick and bagged materials for installation
Special Position Requirements
- Travel anticipated between 25-100%
Preferences
- Refractory/steelmaking experience preferred
- Experience in heavy industrial environment
- Good computer skills preferred
