RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic Regional Head of SCM and Commercial Management NAM. The Regional Head of SCM and Commercial Management must be able to lead changes, work in a global environment, solid knowledge in Customer Service, SCM and Logistics and be passionate.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Positions in this sub job family are responsible for planning, controlling, and implementing processes related to materials and finished goods storage and movement including:

  • Materials movement & storage,
  • Finished goods movement & storage,
  • Inventory management: replenishment processes
  • Production planning – master planning, order and capacity allocation, based on scheduling process
  • Order planning and management
  • Fleet vehicles & traffic management, inbound/outbound transportation and distribution
  • General logistics optimization, planning & control,
  • Lead the process for identifying, developing and implementing procurement planning methods,
  • Coordination of the Logistics Activities and orders management,
  • Improvement and development of existing processes,
  • Knowledge of international customs and logistics rules, including import and export processes
  • Customer service management, warehouse and shipping management   
  • AR management 

Location

  • US based, but responsible for Mexico and Canada as well. Position can be at any of our US facilities or be remote. Travel is required, as needed.

 More than 5 years of experience

Level of Education:

 Bachelors degree required, but Masters preferred

Computer skills:

SAP or other ERP experience
