Field Technical Specialist - Flow Control System

Location: Vietnam

 

Primary Objective:
Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring comprehensive project support from pre-sales analysis to installation, and providing ongoing assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

 

  1. Technical Feasibility Assessment: Conduct pre-sales technical evaluations to determine the viability of projects and identify optimal solutions tailored to customer needs.
  2. Project Leadership: Oversee technical projects involving mechanical, hydraulic, electrical system and ensuring a complete and integrated solution. Working closely with Refractory FC TM person of RHIM towards this.
  3. Technical Support: Act promptly to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site, ensuring minimal disruption for the customer.
  4. Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and propose solutions aligned with their operational goals.
  5. Pre-sales Collaboration: Support the sales team by defining project scopes and assisting in project calculations, ensuring technically sound proposals.
  6. System Installation & Training: Manage the installation of systems and provide detailed training to ensure customers can operate and maintain equipment effectively.
  7. Post-Installation Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support, ensuring long-term operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  8. Reporting: Document technical activities and prepare detailed reports for internal and customer use.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Education: Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in installation, maintenance, or operation of industrial systems, ideally in the steel industry.
  3. Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and refractory systems.
    • Ability to deliver comprehensive solutions involving multiple technical disciplines.
  4. Languages: Fluent English (mandatory); proficiency in Mandarin or other regional languages is a plus.
  5. Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
  6. Soft Skills: Cultural adaptability, excellent communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and within a team.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to support the sales team by defining project scopes and performing technical calculations.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for on-site support and troubleshooting.
