Summary of Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate production planning and control activities for the Slide Gate department to ensure streamlined operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to forecast production needs and develop plans that align with overall business strategies.
• Monitor production metrics and adjust plans as necessary to achieve efficiency targets, minimizing downtime and waste.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the production cycle.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Collaborate with supply chain and inventory management teams to optimize material availability and ensure timely production flow.
• Analyze and report on production performance, making recommendations for improvements based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in production planning and control, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, driving performance and engagement.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in production planning software and tools.
