About the job

As a Process Technician in Recycling Operations for Europe, Turkey & CIS, you will be the interface between our Sourcing team, Plants/Internal customers, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D/technology/environment, and IBS (integrated business services). Aligned in a matrix way, you will support our team to maximize the efficiency and speed of our joint actions to execute our recycling strategy. You will explore, align, and foster recycled raw materials consumption within the company. With this position located in Leoben, you will be up close to the loop of the refractory industry’s circular framework. By functioning as a solution provider, you will work in an integrated manner with the plants that will process and consume recycled materials, as well as with R&D/Supply Chain teams to create additional value to RHIM by processing and delivering more secondary raw materials to our plants.

 

In addition, your tasks will include:

  • Coordinating efforts among all stakeholders in the region to make sure the recycled raw materials are being consumed at their maximum potential by the plants.
  • Monitoring the recycling KPI achievements periodically with analysis of the root causes for deviation to drive the forward-looking action plans.
  • Preparing monthly performance reports as part as the integrated business plan review alongside preparation of the purchase order requests for recycling products in alignment with the sourcing developments and the respective recycling centers/plants.
  • Supporting the sourcing team technically, logistically, and operationally concerning the recycling materials.
  • Coordinating actions to support the recycling journey from waste to product (waste documents for shipment, waste contract creation, etc).

 

About You

You are passionate about achieving results, circular economy, and promoting business. More than that, you are an entrepreneur, thrilled to foster and develop solutions and eager of being the driver of the refractories recycling “push & pull” process. You are a team-worker with the ability to work within your team and across different departments. You are pro-active, a team player, have excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail. Plus, you communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and have demonstrated ability to influence people to drive transformation.

 

What we expect from you in terms of

 

Education

A degree in chemical engineering, R&D, or any technical field of similar relevance.

 

Languages

English – Proficient/Fluent

German – Proficient/Fluent

 

Work Experience

  • Several years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience working with SAP and Supply Chain Management.
  • Have experience working with Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting and communication purposes.
  • Have knowledge and experience within refractory products, materials, and planning, as well as recycling will be highly beneficial.

The potential annual gross salary for this position is €47k on a full-time basis. We value your education, skills and experience and will make sure these are reflected accordingly in your final set salary.
