HR Generalist (all genders)

Leoben, Veitsch, Breitenau | Full time

Your position

In this role, you will support our production plants in Veitsch and Breitenau across a broad range of HR topics, ensuring regular weekly presence on both sites. As part of an experienced and collaborative P&C team across all Austrian locations, you’ll be working closely with peers to share knowledge and best practices. Acting as a sparring partner for managers, employees, and works councils, you will combine hands-on operational support with advisory responsibilities and involvement in HR projects. With shifting priorities and change as part of our culture, moving between different clients and topics will quickly become part of your daily routine. If you enjoy teaming up across sites in dynamic situations and know how to keep things moving without losing perspective (or your sense of humor), this role is for you.

Your tasks

• Providing on-site HR support for employees and managers across both plants
• Handling operational HR processes including onboarding, employee data management, and compliance
• Collaborating with works council representatives and ensuring compliance with Austrian labor law
• Acting as a trusted partner for leadership teams and employees on all HR-related matters
• Coordinating and executing recruitment activities for specific plant roles
• Possibility of supporting regional and group-wide HR projects (e.g. system implementation, process design, etc.)

Your profile

• Several years of relevant experience across a broad variety of HR topics in a manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of Austrian labor law and experience in works council relations
• Ability to interact confidently with senior leaders, shop-floor employees, and works council
• Team player with a positive mindset and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment

Languages: English – fluent, German – fluent  

Certifications:  Completed labor law training (e.g. Arbeitsrecht ExpertIn WIFI)
