About the job

We are looking for outstanding individuals with the potential to become the leaders and experts of the future! You will have the chance to be part of a dedicated RHIM programme and challenge yourself in different departments and functions, gaining valuable hands-on experience. As an R&D trainee you will report directly to the Head of R&D Europe, CIS & Turkey; you will be immersed into the RHIM reality and land in your final position with good knowledge of the business and an extended network!  You would work closely with the colleagues in our Mineralogy Department and would later receive a broader over-view of our FP&A, Technical Marketing and Operations departments. You will travel to our customer and production plants and communicate and align with the stakeholders.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Being responsible for small R&D projects
• Running postmortem studies of used products from our customers

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & Knowledge

• University Degree (Master or PhD in Mining, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Material Science, Ceramics, Process Engineering, etc.)
• Some knowledge of the refractory industry

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• German would be an advantage
• Any other language would be an asset

Work Experience

• Some years of professional working/internship experience in the fields of refractory production such as Operations/Mining/Ceramics/Electrical or Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

The annual gross salary for this position will be € 59,050 on a full-time bases incl overtime.
