About the job

As an Operations Manager for RHI Magnesita, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing our production, purchasing, engineering, and aftermarket activities. In this position, you will report to our Head of Competence Center Sensors. You will lead and manage a team consisting of production personnel, engineers, and support technicians to ensure efficient and smooth operations. Your role will involve a high level of coordination with other departments to achieve the company's goals and objectives. Together with the R&D team, you will coordinate the development and realization of new sensors, ensuring integration into the production. You will also collaborate with our Product Manager to monitor and follow up on product performance, ensuring quality and efficiency.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Prioritizing production and engineering tasks to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and projects are completed on time
• Monitoring and forecasting demand to ensure adequate production planning and inventory management
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring their requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly
• Managing and coordinating vacation schedules to maintain optimal staffing levels within the operations team

What we expect from you in terms of

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Materials, Chemical or Industrial), supply chain, operations management, or any field of similar relevance

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• Swedish – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other languages will be considered an asset

Work Experience & Skills

• Several years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment
