About the job

We are looking for a dedicated general accountant to join the accounting team and report directly to the Lead of General Accounting. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of RHI Magnesita. Some of the tasks will include monitoring, maintaining, and posting journal entries, performing month-end closing activities, and reconciling accounts. In addition, you will get the chance to participate in different projects such as implementations, system changes, and testing (among others). In this position, you will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of RHI Magnesita, while playing a key role in RHI Magnesita's business processes.

In addition, your tasks will include

• IFRS15 related activities
• Preparing and updating internal procedures
• Providing audit support

What we expect from you in terms of

Education and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or any other relevant field
• SAP and SAGE knowledge would be preferable 

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language will be considered an asset

Work Experience

• Few years of relevant professional experience
