Cloud Modern Service Delivery

About you

As a Cloud Modern Service Delivery, you will be part of the newly created department Digital Platforms in Oviedo, being a key individual to develop the technical capabilities. You will develop and support the technical capabilities of our Global Central Services, being part of the Integrated Business Services department, reporting to the Head of Cloud of Excellence (CCoE)

 

 

In addition, you have knowledge and deep understanding of:

  • The overall CCoE approach
  • IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL V2-4, Cobit)
  • Cloud and Azure Concepts (e.g. Azure Fundamentals Certified, AZ-900)
  • Modern Service Management and the cloud impact on ITSM
  • Defining and Deploying Operational MSM Practices (e.g. Cost Management, Configuration Management, Change and Release Management and Incident Management)
  • Cloud Native (Modern) Service Management tooling
  • DevOps processes
  • Experience recommended with Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Log Analytics and PowerBI.

 

Basic understanding of:

  • Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Application Insight and Log Analytics.
  • Agile methodologies
  • Integration of Azure, Cloud Native tooling and traditional ITSM tooling
  • Security Management in CCoE (Security Control Framework)
  • Willingness to travel on occasional basis

 

 

About the job

The Cloud Modern Service Delivery owns the Modern Service Management Control Framework and supports the rest of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) teams in establishing the necessary service management requirements defined in the framework.

 

Your tasks will include:

  • Provide advice on the Modern Service Management approach into the CCoE.
  • Provide advice on applying Modern cloud native principles to ITSM.
  • Review any existing service management processes that are related to Azure workloads and put it together.
  • Responsible for driving the MSM Control Framework and the continuous improvement of it.
  • Responsible for driving the MSM Control Framework implementation and providing MSM guidance on the implementation.
  • Work with the CCoE stakeholder to define service management controls that meets the CCoE needs to enable new workloads in the cloud by well operated and supported products and platform. The MSM controls include foundation controls, standard controls and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS controls. Controls can be related to topics, e.g.: governance, cost management, monitoring, escalation handling, Lifecycle management and handling service improvements.
  • Partner with the Component- and Platform teams in CCoE to define processes, tools and automation used to ensure components in the enterprise component catalog adhere to the service control frameworks.
  • Building and maintaining a formal relationship with the following stakeholders in the CCoE
  • Support these stakeholders in building, applying and maintaining the MSM Control Framework, including:
  • Assist the component owners in the estimation and prioritization of MSM related backlog items.

 

 

Desired additional Skills & Experience

  • Azure Certifications AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-204 or AZ-400.
  • ITSM experience and certifications
  • Software development full lifecycle methodologies, patterns, frameworks, libraries and tools
  • Experience coordinating the intersection of complex system dependencies and interactions
  • Experience in solution delivery using common agile methodologies but also waterfall
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry trends and standards
