Customer Service Representative - Sales Minerals (all genders)

Your position

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts within the Minerals sector, primarily across Southern Europe. Acting as a key support to our Sales Managers based in Italy, you will ensure a high level of customer service by handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating closely with internal teams such as Sales and Logistics. As part of a motivated, global team, you will collect and validate data, prepare and analyze reports, and proactively communicate opportunities for improvement.

 

Your tasks

  • Processing purchase orders from Europe, managing customer billing and generating invoices, credit and debit memos
  • Collaborating closely with Supply Chain functions (Production, Quality, Transportation, and Warehousing) to manage the order book and maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Monitoring order follow-ups and coordinating material planning to meet customer demand and forecasts
  • Analyzing data to create accurate demand plans and utilizing KPIs to drive performance improvements aligned with company objectives
  • Ensuring timely container and truck pick-ups and deliveries, address payment-related issues, and act as a central point of contact for logistics providers and warehouse partners

 

Your profile

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics and Transportation, International Relations or Communication
  • Experience with data entry, report generation, and data analysis
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Few years of experience in a Customer Service Representative role, preferably within a manufacturing environment

 

Languages: Italian – Fluent; English - Fluent

Nice to have: Any additional languages are considered an asset
