Data Engineer (all genders)

Your position

As part of a small but dynamic team in the Europe & CIS region, you will design and implement data foundations for automation and AI solutions. You will develop advanced ETL processes using Databricks and SQL, ensuring high-quality, efficient data models with the latest technologies. Collaborating with domain experts and other team members, you will deliver smart solutions with real-world impact with up to 15% travel requirements to support project needs. In this position you will report directly to the Head of Organizational Transformation while playing a pivotal role in shaping RHI Magnesita’s digital and data-driven transformation.

Your tasks

• Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes (SQL, Python) with Databricks
• Collaborating with technical experts, such as data and AI engineers, product owners and UX designers to ensure your data models seamlessly feed into the overall solution
• Ensuring data quality, governance, privacy, consistency, and usability across systems
• Collaborating with colleagues on automation and analytics solutions by providing resilient and well-structured data foundations

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business informatics, computer science, data analytics, or any related field
• Few years of experience in ETL processes and data modeling
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and database design
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and ERP structures (SAP, o9)

Languages: English – proficient/fluent

Good to have: Knowledge of API integration (YAML, JSON), automation tools (Power Automate, UI Path, n8n), visualization tools (Power BI), and AI advancements
