About the job
As a Purchase Order Management Professional, you will be at the forefront of our procurement operations, overseeing the end-to-end management of purchase orders. You will be responsible for creating and following up on purchase orders for all RHI Magnesita plants in Europe. Specifically, you will create, review, and manage purchase orders adhering to our company’s policies and procedures. By verifying essential information such as pricing, quantities, and delivery dates, you will ensure accurate transactions and minimize any possible discrepancies. In this role, you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as our procurement team, vendors, and various departments, fostering effective communication channels, and ensuring timely execution of purchase orders.
In addition, your tasks will include
- Creating and modifying purchase orders and contracts in SAP
- Managing any discrepancies between purchase orders and order confirmations
- Following up on order confirmations
- Keeping the vendor and material master data updated
- Attending related requests and resolving any incidents using Service NOW
- Using Ariba platform to manage vendors’ onboarding processes

What we expect from you in terms of
Education & Skills
- Degree in the field of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar technical field of studies (or equivalent experience)
Languages
- English – Proficient/Fluent
- German – Intermediate/Proficient/Fluent – is a must
Work Experience
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
- Experience working with SAP
