Quotation Analyst (all genders)

Your position

In this position you will report to the Head of Quotations, Commercial & PM. The Quotation Team is responsible for applying the adequate pricing strategy and is collaborating with different stakeholders, mainly with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Plants and Supply Chain/Procurement. Your role primarily focuses on pricing strategy, margin validation, commercial compliance and offer optimization, ensuring that quotations support the company’s business objectives, standards and sales growth. You will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive and timely commercial quotations for products, solutions, and customer requests with the scope of complex Project Business Quotes. This position involves travel of up to 10% within Europe.

Your tasks

• Preparing commercial proposals including price structures, relevant pricing conditions, services, and special commercial conditions.
• Ensuring alignment with pricing policies, contractual terms, margin targets and internal approval levels
• Performing Pricing & Margin Analysis by calculating the selling prices based on pricing rules, cost inputs and margin models
• Supporting Sales Account Managers during Mark-to-Order phase by providing reliable quotations considering the nature of project business complexities while maintaining accuracy and compliance
• Ensuring consistent and reliable internal communication during quotation development in line with data governance and transparency requirements

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance or related fields
• Several years of experience in quotation, pricing, commercial analysis, sales support or business operations
• Background in commercial or technical-commercial environments is valued

Languages: English – fluent. German – Basic (not mandatory).
