About the Opportunity

This position combines hands-on maintenance responsibilities with health and safety coordination. You’ll be responsible for maintaining equipment and systems while helping ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Replace electrical components including relays, switches, motors, and sensors
  • Rewire motors and replace bearings
  • Troubleshoot and replace faulty electronic components
  • Interpret electrical schematics and perform basic PLC troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Support plant operations during off-hours as needed

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Follow and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections
  • Coordinate safety training and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain safety documentation and reporting systems
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across the facility
  • Serve as a point of contact for health and safety-related matters

About You

  • Experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical and electrical systems)
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and operational reliability
