Production Manager (all genders)

Your position

As Production Manager, you will manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all production lines. In this key role, you’ll organize and supervise the production process to keep things running smoothly and deliver high-quality output. The position requires strong organizational skills, effective workforce coordination, and the ability to quickly solve operational and HR issues. You’ll work closely with logistics and external partners to reduce downtime and improve processes, while promoting teamwork and accountability on the shop floor. You will report directly to the plant manager to formulate objectives and requirements, while leading the production team to meet objectives safely and efficiently.

 

Your tasks

  • Managing daily production operations, ensuring quality, cost and time targets are met
  • Driving the development of production processes by identifying potential, implementing improvements, and ensuring 6S standards
  • Ensuring effective allocation of team members to tasks, balancing workloads and addressing any staffing needs, as well as collaborating closely with the Production Planner and supporting HR-related matters and employee development
  • Implementing and maintaining safety standards
  • Monitoring machines and coordinating preventive maintenance activities

 

Your profile

  • Flexible, solution-oriented, and efficient in problem-solving
  • Several years of experience in managing industrial production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards
  • Technical background or hands-on manufacturing experience
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles applied to production processes
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced in working with ERP systems

 

Languages: German - fluent; English - intermediate

Nice to have: Experience in leading projects and managing teams
