Your position

Responsible for driving commercial growth through data analysis, business opportunity development, and customer support.

This position combines commercial communication skills with a strong data-driven focus, leveraging digital and business intelligence tools to generate value for both customers and the contract organization.

The position is key to translating data into commercial strategies, supporting the sales area with actionable insights, and strengthening relationships with current and potential customers, ensuring an approach aligned with the company's culture and values.

This position has no staff under its responsibility and reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

 

 

 

 

You will be

Analysis and planning:

Analyze material consumption trends and develop reliable forecasts in coordination with the operations and sales teams.

Identify opportunities for optimization in inventory, costs, and margin improvement.

Perform profitability analysis by product, customer, and project, with monthly reports.

Information management and BI:

Create, update, and maintain dashboards in Business Intelligence (BI) to provide visibility to management and operational areas.

Consolidate and maintain the historical contract database, including commercial conditions, dates, and prices.

Develop executive reports and presentations to support strategic decision-making.

Inventory and operations management:

Monitor inventory levels and generate preventive alerts to avoid overstocking or shortages.

Coordinate with logistics and warehouses to ensure material availability in accordance with production schedules.

Implement improvements to the internal materials management system and provide user support.

Billing and commercial process support:

Follow up on billing related to steel production and active contracts.

Validate margins and costs related to contracts before closing billing.

Support the review and preparation of commercial proposals, ensuring consistency between technical data, prices, and conditions.

 

 

Collaboration and technical-commercial support:

Hold regular meetings with the operational team to align material scheduling based on process data.

Provide support to the operational team in diagnosing and solving problems related to machinery and/or refractories, referring to the technical area when necessary.

Serve as a liaison between the sales, operations, logistics, and finance areas to ensure smooth processes.

Availability for on-call duty (rounds) and to be present at strategic assemblies.

Continuous improvement:

Propose and implement initiatives to optimize the use of data in commercial decision-making.

Participate in internal digital transformation and report automation projects.

Contribute to the standardization of contract analysis, control, and monitoring processes.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel, pivot tables, SAP, MES).
  • Knowledge of industrial processes and technical environments (experience in manufacturing and/or steel is a plus).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical and commercial information clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external clients.
  • Proactive, analytical, and results-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of and adaptation to organizational culture, with previous experience in international corporate environments.

 

Education and Professional Background:

  • Education: Engineering, Administration, Economics, International Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: >2 years in areas related to data analysis, digitization, or business intelligence.
  • Languages: Intermediate-advanced English (desirable).
