You are a great mix between an analytical thinker and a people’s person who can both analyze Big Data as well as communicate with your peers to make the best use of it.


In addition, you have:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or similar
  • A few years of experience in Market Intelligence, or similar such as Analytics or Pricing (industry or consultancy)
  • Strong analytical skills translating market insights into relevant findings and recommendations
  • Experience with project management and managing multiple projects on time
  • Experience with CRM Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, SQL is an advantage
  • Experience in using secondary research database such as Capital IQ or Refinitiv is a plus
  • Advanced excel and powerpoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) in English. Any other European language will be considered as an asset


About the job

As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will monitor, validate, and analyze market and competitor data to add value to the business unit, especially focused on competitively price refractories products in the Sales Region of Europe, CIS & Turkey. You work in an international and dynamic colleague with a high team-spirit and will collaborate daily with key departments to ensure that RHI-Magnesita keeps and expand its market share and profitability.


Your tasks will include:


  • Develop, implement and maintain market intelligence datasets and dashboards for Europe, CIS & Turkey
  • Monitor, gather and analyze cost drivers, market and competitor movements
  • Translate and visualize market insights from analysis into relevant findings and recommendations
  • Develop and update comprehensive competitive landscape including competitor profile, market share and pricing
  • Conduct regional win/loss analysis and develop competitive pricing development tracker
  • Work collaboratively with other functions, and develop relationship with key internal customers including Sales to identify emerging needs and business challenges
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis/fulfill research requests and sharing findings
