Production & Inventory Analyst

In addition, you have:

  • 3+ years of work experience in manufacturing or financial management
  • Master’s degree or equivalent business background.
  • Strong Microsoft Office & IT skills.
  • Strong statistics and analytical skills.
  • Efficient in understanding Corporate matrix organizations.
  • Good financial acumen (understanding of impact of financials).


About the job

As a Production & Inventory Analyst, you will be supporting the Global Supply Planning department in Rotterdam. This is a full-time contract of 40 hours per week, for an experienced-level position of indefinite time. You will play a vital role for setting up KPI dashboards to access quality of Supply Planning and improving Supply Planning accuracy. This position is for 40 hours per week, with the opportunity of working from home and/or in the Rotterdam office.

You will be responsible for analyzing the adequacy of production plans and considering inventory plans while maintaining the Demand & Supply balance in all regions. In this role you will work with Production and Inventory planners to achieve confirmation of the Supply Plan.

Your tasks will include:

  • Analyzing Production plans to identify where existing raw material inventory is not adequate
  • Analyze production plans to identify the peaks in demand vs capacity and potential pitfalls
  • Prepare visuals for Supply Plans based on capacity, cost, and delivery lead time optimization
  • Provide regular reporting on Supply Plans effectiveness to influence decision making
  • Support working capital and cost reduction initiatives (corporate initiatives)
