About the job

Recycling is a growing and strategic prioritized business segment that has the potential to considerably reduced the CO2 emissions, decrease the amount of materials sent to the landfills, and make RHI Magnesita stand out from other refractory companies. Your role is to understand the recycling business, how the regional teams operate, compare the usage of recycling among the different plants and support the implementation of R&D/Sales initiatives to increase recycling usage, including creation of new portfolios. You will also be supporting us in the preparation of benchmark analysis that support the regional recycling teams with information and driving the focus of the R&D/Sales developments.


In addition, your tasks will include

  • Creating and analyzing product databases to understand recycling usage in the different product groups.
  • Preparing benchmark analysis that support the regional recycling teams with information and driving the focus of the R&D/Sales developments.
  • Coordinating with the regional recycling teams their needs of technical development and opening projects using the company tools, as PPM.
  • Monitoring the R&D/Sales projects’ progress and ensure that they are delivered on time and fulfilling the necessary technical requirements.
  • Support the management of the recycling grades portfolio in connection with Product Manager department.
  • Monitoring of recycling KPIs and support in the technical analysis of the root causes for deviation.

What we expect from you in terms of



  • Degree in higher education in engineering and a degree either in Metallurgy, Materials Sciences, Process, Chemistry, Finance, Business Adminstration or similar area  



  • English – Proficient/Fluent
  • Any other language is considered as an asset


Work Experience

  • Some years of relevant working experience
  • Have knowledge and experience within refractory products, materials, as well as recycling
  • Have work experience derived from Sales, Marketing R&D, Mineral Processing, Quality and Process Engineering
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills are required for executive reporting and data management purposes
