About the job

As a Reporting & Finance Team Leader you will be reporting to the Head of Reporting & Finance Turkey. You will be responsible for accounting transactions and preparation of statutory financial statements and reports, filed with regulatory agencies and based on application of IFRS accounting standards. You will analyze impacts of new accounting standards, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions. You will collaborate internally with corporate functions (such as Consolidation, Treasury, Legal, Tax), as well as externally with auditors, banks, and other professional service providers. You will perform Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheet analysis, including variance analysis that supports notes and management commentary in the statutory financial accounts and reports.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Planning, monitoring and leading month-end closing process
• Timely and accurate handling of group and vendor reporting
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls, processes, and procedures

What we expect from you in terms of

Education and Skills

• University degree in the field of Finance, Accounting, Consolidation or similar
• Good knowledge of Accounting and IFRS
• A high-tech affinity and strong expertise in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Power BI, Teams)
• Robust financial skills and understanding of business processes

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• Turkish – Proficient/Fluent

Work Experience

• Extensive, relevant working experience in Accounting or Inventory Valuation/Cost Accounting (ideally, within a manufacturing industry)
• Experience in leading/coordinating a small team
