Your position

As the Head of Technical Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Plant Sörmaş. You will lead the technical department and oversee the maintenance across diverse assets, including production sites, offices, and other operational locations. You will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, budget, and costs, as well as equipment availability, all while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will take the responsibility of managing RHI Magnesita’s ongoing projects. You will collaborate closely with international team members to ensure the alignment of project requirements, deadlines, and schedules. Your responsibilities will encompass submitting project deliverables, crafting status reports, establishing effective project communication plans, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Your tasks

• Coaching and developing direct and indirect reports (incl. students and trainees)
• Responsible for Health, Safety, and Environment measures within the department
• Developing the initial maintenance budget proposal oversight (covering OpEx and CapEx)
• Implementing corrective and mitigating actions as needed, and ensuring comprehensive reporting
• Responsible for the development, monitoring, reporting, and enhancement of the department KPIs
• Leading the implementation of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) culture to enhance machine and equipment reliability

Your profile

• University degree or higher technical education in fields such as Mineral Resources Engineering, Industrial Environmental Protection and Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Ceramics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation
• Expertise in Project management and Maintenance Management (incl. warehouse management)
• Vast experience within technical roles, particularly in industries such as energy, (petro-) chemical, or cement industry
• Several years of experience as a maintenance manager

Languages: Turkish – Native & English – Fluent
