About the job

As the Logistics Line Leader, you will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain Management. Your main responsibilities will include managing daily inbound and outbound shipments, in order to ensure timely deliveries of products in perfect condition. Additionally, your strong communication skills will contribute to a close collaboration with plant and sales teams, as well as other relevant global RHI Magnesita colleagues. Proactively preventing operational failures, as well as finding innovative solutions, for internal and external stakeholders, belong to your top priorities. You will also ensure compliance with production specifications and Health, Safety, and Environment measures.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Leading a diverse team
• Implementing and monitoring department and company goals
• Steering production and creating shipment plans for both domestic & export orders accordingly
• Follow-up and control of daily inbound and outbound shipments
• Managing the flow and density of vehicles on site

What we expect from you in terms of

Education and skills

• Ideally a bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or another relevant field
• Solid Excel skills (Pivot tables) and ability to transform raw data into meaningful reports

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• Turkish – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language will be considered an asset

Work Experience

• Several years of relevant working experience in international trade, logistics, planning, warehousing and operations management
• SAP implementation and/or super/end/key user experience for years (especially SD-MM-PP modules)
