About the job

Reporting directly to the Head of Plant Sörmas, you will lead the Supply Chain department of our Sörmas plant and will be responsible for implementing supply chain designs, models, strategies and/or processes in accordance with the regional and global functions of RHI Magnesita. You will coordinate and integrate the materials and information flow among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers. With your hands-on mentality, you will lead planning activities among our product groups. You will be among the pioneers who are going to implement SAP S4Hana in the Sörmaş supply chain, a pilot plant at RHI Magnesita. You will be working closely with national and international team members to ensure that the project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Identifying and recommending opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain
• Submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution
• Leading the SCM team, coaching, developing direct and indirect reports (incl. students and trainees)
• Responsibility for Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) within department (complying with the rules, improving performance)
• Responsibility for the Supply Chain KPI’s (development, follow up reporting, improvements etc.)  in alignment with global and regional stakeholders

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & Skills

• A higher commercial or technical education with focus on logistics, supply chain or similar
• Industrial Engineer diploma will be considered an advantage

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• Turkish – Proficient/Fluent

Work Experience

• Extensive relevant working experience
