SAP SD Solution Architect (ECC & S/4HANA)

Role Overview

Join RHI Magnesita's global software development team as an SAP SD Solution Architect. While this position supports a global SAP landscape, the role partners extensively with North American commercial and operational teams, making it a highly visible opportunity to influence business processes, drive digital transformation, and deliver meaningful improvements across Lead-to-Cash and Order-to-Cash operations.

Working closely with business leaders, key users, Global Process Experts, and international IT teams, you will design, configure, enhance, and support SAP solutions that enable business success, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen customer experience across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a trusted SAP SD partner and solution architect for North American business stakeholders while supporting globally standardized processes and solutions.
• Design and deliver scalable SAP SD solution architectures across ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Partner with business teams to identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements within Lead-to-Cash and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions, functional designs, and technical recommendations.
• Provide expertise in SAP SD configuration, customization, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis, issue resolution, and system stabilization efforts to support reliable business operations.
• Collaborate with global Integrated Business Services (IBS) teams to implement projects and improve end-to-end business processes.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on process optimization, standardization, and digital transformation.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to support user adoption and business readiness.
• Consult with business process owners and Global Process Experts on process design, governance, standardization, and automation opportunities.
• Coordinate external vendors and service providers while providing technical leadership across project workstreams.
• Document solution designs, system enhancements, and implemented business processes.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting, configuring, and designing SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD) solutions.
• Strong expertise in Lead-to-Cash and Order-to-Cash business processes.
• Hands-on experience within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Advanced SAP SD configuration and customization expertise.
• Experience designing enterprise business processes and translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Knowledge of business process management and project management methodologies.
• Experience working within global organizations and collaborating across cultures and time zones.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence business decisions and drive solution adoption across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Working knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL is a plus.
• Experience coordinating external vendors or service providers is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require.
