About you

  1. Proven track record in the Steelmaking Industry or Refractory Sales/Installation, with a strong focus on customer service and business growth.
  2. Self-motivated, resilient, and ready to work closely with our customers, providing unparalleled service excellence to drive business growth.
  3. A goal-oriented professional who thrives on achieving excellence and meeting targets.
  4. Competent in supervising trials, managing refractory installation equipment, stock management, troubleshooting, and developing new opportunities.
  5. Technical qualification and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are essential.


About the job

This role is focused on our key Customer based in New Zealand , also key member of our Oceania Team and reports to the Oceania Sales Manager. You will be working with Customer Installation and Operation Teams at their plant as well as Commercial and Technical key contacts within RHI Magnesita globally.


This position acts as a key interface between RHI Magnesita and our customers.


Your tasks will include:


  • Supervision of Refractory Linings Processes at assigned installation site and ensure service quality
  • Provide on-site Technical Support and organized customer trainings
  • Support demand planning involving the customer, RHI Magnesita Sales and Plant Teams
  • Looking after the on-site health and safety
  • technical consultancy of customers, including on site support for trials, performance improvement and solution development
  • Project management
  • Documentation of monthly work
  • Creation of reports & updates for the responsible Head of Department
  • Prepare Customer Trial Reports, Meeting Minutes
  • Placement of the appropriate RHI Magnesita technology at the customer
  • Organization of customer trainings concerning the proper use of RHI Magnesita products and services
  • Ongoing check of technical and economical competitiveness of the implemented RHI Magnesita portfolio
  • Improvement of the customer supply with RHI Magnesita product
