Service Technician Refractories (all genders)

Oxelösund, Sweden | Full time

Your position

As a Service Technician you will provide hands-on technical support to our customers in Sweden. Based in Oxelösund, but also travelling to other customer sites in Sweden, you will work closely with customer operations, Sales and Technical Marketing to support refractory installations, product trials and performance improvements. You will spend much of your time at customer sites, identifying practical solutions, supporting product trials and helping ensure the safe and effective use of our products.

Your tasks

• Providing technical support during refractory installations, product trials and inspections at customer sites
• Monitoring refractory performance, identifying potential issues and recommending practical technical solutions
• Supporting customers with the correct use, installation and maintenance of refractory products
• Preparing technical reports and sharing relevant findings with Sales, Technical Marketing and other internal experts
• Identifying opportunities for product and process improvements and proposing technical solutions to customers

Your profile

• Extensive practical experience in the steel industry, refractory installation or a comparable industrial environment
• Experience with installation work, technical projects or operational activities in a production environment
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and take initiative
• Confident communication skills and a professional, customer-oriented approach, including in demanding situations
• Willingness to travel regularly within Sweden to support customer sites and participate in technical training at RHI Magnesita locations

Languages: Swedish – fluent, English - fluent
