Supply Chain Intern - Summer 2027

Are you interested in how raw materials become finished products and how global organizations manage the movement of goods, information, and inventory? As a Supply Chain Intern at RHI Magnesita, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory processes that keep a global manufacturing operation running.

Working alongside experienced supply chain professionals, you'll analyze data, solve operational challenges, and contribute to projects that improve efficiency, service levels, and business performance. This internship provides valuable exposure to real-world supply chain operations while helping you build skills that support future careers in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, planning, and operations.

What You'll Do

• Support supply chain initiatives focused on procurement, logistics, planning, inventory optimization, and customer service.
• Analyze inventory, logistics, procurement, and operational performance data to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and service enhancements.
• Assist with inventory tracking, forecasting, and demand planning activities.
• Collaborate with operations, production, procurement, and logistics teams on cross-functional projects.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key supply chain metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and problem-solving methodologies.
• Support supplier performance analysis and procurement processes as needed.
• Help identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness.
• Present project findings and recommendations to supply chain leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, SAP, or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, or work experiences preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
