Your position

As a Global Operations Trainee, you will report directly to the PLANT MANAGER and play an integral role in the team. You will:

  • Collaborate closely with operations experts to implement and sustain lean methodologies.
  • Support the ramp-up of our world-class manufacturing system, providing essential assistance.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and alignment of project activities through your outstanding communication skills.
  • Analyse operational challenges and work with regional teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites and our production plants to gain practical experience.

 

 

Your tasks

  • Support day-to-day operational activities. Starting your focus on production and quality control system.
  • Inclined to learn and participate in Maintenance and Supply chain activities.
  • Gather and analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Participate in internal training programs focused mainly on lean principles and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency at a regional level.

 

Your profile

Your enthusiasm and creativity drive fresh ideas, both individually and with colleagues. With a hands-on mentality, structured approach, and sharp analytical skills, you want to challenge and improve the status quo.

  • University degree (minimum BSc) in process/mechanical/electrical engineering, or similar field.
  • Previous professional experience or internship in manufacturing operations and lean methodologies.
  • Fluent in SPANISH and ENGLISH (spoken and written); Other language such as Portuguese or German is a plus
  • Data analytic skills and good affinity with Microsoft Excel (PowerBI is nice-to-have)
  • Eager to take initiative and drive projects forward
  • Pragmatic problem-solver and strong communicator
  • Agile, open-minded, and embracing change

The hiring process for the Global Trainee Program 2025 takes place between April - July 2025, with multiple stages including CV screening, interviews, a personality questionnaire, and an assessment centre. Successful candidates will receive their contracts between June - July and start their positions in September 2025.
