Your position

As a Maintenance Planner, you will report directly to the Head of Maintenance and play an integral role in the team.

You will:

  • Review and update maintenance plans in the system
  • Perform Maintenance shutdowns
  • Follow up on Maintenance backlog
  • Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical)
  • Evaluating and recommending equipment improvements to improve availability and capability
  • Performing equipment failure analyses
  • Contractor Management
  • Cost Control
  • Preparing technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures

Your profile

This full-time position will be responsible for managing, performing, and improvement maintenance plans, to ensure that all the repairs of facilities systems, buildings, and equipment are executed according to plan

  • Fluent in SPANISH and ENGLISH
  • The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong analytical capabilities and a critical mindset to challenge data, improve processes, and ensure the highest standards.
  • Hand on, forward thinking, and improvement/results driven
  • Excellent Problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.

Education and Professional Background:

  • 1 - 2 years of Maintenance experience is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or related

Technical and Core Competencies

  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Customer service
  • Ability to interact with staff, partners, and the general public with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Works effectively and collaboratively, including clear written and verbal communications
  • Technical Knowledge: Pneumatics and basic hydraulics; Welding; Power Transmission; Heat treatment; Heat transfer; Metrology; Electrical System; Maintenance of medium voltage electrical substations, 23 KV
